PROMOTION: Les Mills offering 'opportunity of a lifetime' in New Zealand to experienced club manager

Global fitness company Les Mills has launched a search for an experienced manager to lead its flagship club in Auckland City, New Zealand.

As well as holding a key strategic position in the group, the successful candidate will be responsible for running the 6,500sq m club and leading a fitness team that looks after a large membership.

The new club manager will report directly to the head of club operations.

"This is a unique opportunity to hold a key role in a globally renowned club and iconic New Zealand company," says Jackie Mills, chief creative officer at Les Mills.

"The role comes with high expectations – the club manager will be responsible for operating a profitable club which consistently delivers the 'wow' to our members.

"This role is full-time, requires boundless energy and is not for the faint-hearted."

The company is inviting applications from fitness professionals who meet the requirements, which ask for candidates to have:

- a proven track record in people leadership in the fitness industry with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve beyond what they thought possible
- more than 10 years' experience in management and leadership roles
- strong business acumen
- budget formulation and successful execution
- the ability to collaborate closely with the national office and Les Mills International to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives
- a relevant tertiary qualification
- experience working autonomously
- a "fitness story" and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle
