New to the UK market from Tower Health, Dr Metz Slimsoles use the principles of reflexology and acupressure to help encourage weight loss.
Worn inside the shoe, Slimsoles are claimed to help weight loss as you walk, their knobbly surface putting pressure on reflex points in the feet which stimulate the function of the internal organs responsible for obesity and poor digestion.
These in turn affect internal structures such as the stomach, liver, bowels, gall bladder, kidneys, solar plexus and lymphatic system, the effect being an improvement of the metabolic process, regulation of digestion and water balance, as well as an increased release of fat from the fat cells.
This more efficient working of the body has been reported in clinical studies to result in weight loss of up to 10lbs in 6 weeks, without major dieting or increases in the level of exercise.
