TerraPave Natural Aggregate paving flags from Irish based construction products specialist, Acheson & Glover, have been used for a project at the Jurys Inn Hotel, Heathrow.
Over 1200sq m of the company's Rimini, Florento and Sorrento coloured flags were installed by Design & Build Contractor, Mc Aleer and Rushe Ltd of Cookstown, Co. Tyrone to form a piazza area outside the 364 bedroom, 3 Star Hotel at Hatton Cross near London.
The 400 x 400 x 50mm textured flags, which were made at Acheson & Glover's Toome Factory in County Antrim, were specified by Architects, Consarc Design Group of Belfast.
Consarc also chose A&G's Country Cobble Paving for border detailing and Silver Grey coloured Natural Aggregate Kerbs for edge restraint on the scheme.
Jurys Inn Hotels in Southampton, Dublin and, most recently Nottingham, have also used Acheson & Glover TerraPave Flags for their pedestrian areas, helping maintain an attractive design consistency in their exterior landscaping.
TerraPave Flags are part of a wide range of landscape products from the Acheson & Glover Group. They are made by incorporating a 20mm thick surface layer of high quality aggregates which gives them an attractive, natural stone surface finish but without the usual high cost associated with stone flags.
