Abloy secures Emirates Stadium

Working with main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine and sub-contractor Honeywell Business Solutions, Abloy Security has provided an assortment of Abloy and effeff branded security products for Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium home.
High performance electrically operated locks, strikes, electro magnets and handles supplied by the company have been used to secure office, retail, function room and private areas throughout the new 60,000 seater venue.
Although some Abloy products were specified by the architects HOK Sport, who also designed The English National Stadium at Wembley, Royal Ascot Racecourse and Wimbledon Centre Court, this was not why the company was chosen to be a security product supplier for the contract.
Honeywell Business Solutions Project Manager, Steve Wright said: “We have worked well with Abloy on a number of other projects. Their range of high security products with proven quality was a key factor in the selection process for Emirates Stadium.”
