Members' Choice Health Club Awards winners to be revealed

The regional and national winners of the Members' Choice Health Club Awards are set to be revealed on 24 September 2013.
This is the third year of the awards ceremony, a highlight of the fitness industry's calendar, and will take place on the first night of Leisure Industry Week, at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham.
The awards are based on the votes of 40,000 members who rate their club on the quality of facilities, customer service and value for money.
Clubs have been shortlisted in Budget, Mid Market and Premium Club categories in 14 regions. There are also national categories for best budget, small, medium and national chain.
Simon Brown, organiser, said: "Belonging to a good health club is a rewarding experience, but for clubs it's not easy to get every aspect just right. It requires a lot of hard work and a belief that members should have a rewarding experience every time they visit.
"Only 150 clubs across the UK have reached the shortlist stage of the competition and every single one of them should be extremely proud of that fact. There’s no better endorsement for a club than from the customers that are using the facilities on a regular basis and that says a huge amount about the way these clubs are run."
The evening will comprise of a drinks reception, a three-course dinner, the awards ceremony and an exclusive after party.
