Attend Europe's major conference on the future of museums

MuseumNext Dublin takes place over three days in April with the first day spread across multiple cultural venues around the city including the National Gallery Ireland, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and The Royal Society of Antiquaries, followed by two days at the Mansion House, a dedicated events space and home to Dublin’s Lord Mayor.

With a range of workshops, events and presentations there will be more than 50 speakers covering topics including future finance, attracting all ages, museums in communities and valuing people within museums.

With keynote presentations from Marian Goodell, CEO of Burning Man; Alexandre Fernandes, Audience Development Director at Brazil's newest museum, the Museum of Tomorrow; an 'In Conversation with David Fleming' session where the Director of National Museums Liverpool will focus on the social museum; and Michael John Gorman, outgoing CEO of the Science Gallery International will be making one of his last presentations in the role before moving on to pastures new.

There are more than 300 delegates already signed up to attend from organisations around the globe including:

• Rijksmuseum (The Netherlands)

• Museum of Modern Art (USA)

• Van Gogh Museum (The Netherlands)

• Aros Aarhus Art Museum (Denmark)

• Historic Royal Palaces (UK)

• The CocaCola Company (USA)

• Musée des BeauxArts de Lyon (France)

• Guggenheim (USA)

• Wellcome Collection (UK)

• Epic Ireland (Ireland)

• Adidas (Germany)

• Alimentarium (Switzerland)

• Technopolis (Belgium)

With social evenings at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Science Gallery Dublin and an organised pub crawl around Dublin city centre on the last night of the conference, there will be lots of opportunity to see the city, meet the experts and influencers working within the sector, and pick up new tips and connections.
