The £46m development is home to Hull City AFC and Hull City rugby league and is a key part of a major regeneration programme with sport at its heart.

The venue, designed by the Miller Partnership, has a smooth, flowing eliptical roof around an asymmetrical bowl. The roofing contractor, Keyclad, chose Plannja's profile PS70 to complete the work.

The surface was supplied with a smooth plastisol finish on both sides and needed to be able to withstand weathering, especially winds, and also span the required distance, while maintaining the undulations of the roof design.
