Director of Operations – Active Luton
Full time - permanent
Circa £61 - £64k per annum - inclusive of car allowance plus excellent benefits including an exceptional pension scheme

Are you passionate about sport, leisure, health and wellbeing? Can you inspire, nurture and develop a team? And do you have outstanding operations experience?
Reporting into the CEO, Active Luton are currently looking for a Director of Operations. This exciting role on our Directors’ Leadership Team provides strategic and operational oversight of Active Luton’s portfolio of leisure and sports facilities.
You will be able to demonstrate that you are commercially focused and have an understanding of financial forecasts and budget management, whilst consistently developing and improving operational procedures and delivery.
You will lead on commercial business development, health and safety, energy and environment strategies and major procurements.
As an experienced leader of people, you will have the ability to provide clear communication as well as to motivate, manage and inspire the team, always promoting company values.
Active Luton’s Community Wellbeing Trust offers traditional leisure services alongside integrated health and wellbeing programmes.
Our mission is to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community, inspiring, motivating and offering opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to learn and take action to improve their life chances.
