Les Mills announces 2015 global fitness tour with Reebok
POSTED 26 Jan 2015 . BY Jak Phillips
The tour will see crowds of up to 6,000 people working out in unison at iconic venues across the world
Reebok and Les Mills are teaming up to stage a series of one-day festivals that will see mass-participation group workouts take place around the world.

Having kicked off a five-year partnership in 2013, the two fitness giants have worked closely on a number of projects, including the recently-announced Immersive Fitness concept.

The Reebok Les Mills One Live project is a tour of large-scale festivals that will see crowds of up to 6,000 people working out in unison at iconic venues across the world. Featuring pumping music and state of the art lighting, the tour kicks off in Glasgow on 14 March, taking in the Grand Palais in Paris and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, as well as making stops in Dubai, Melbourne, Stockholm, Tokyo, Montreal and Chicago. There will be three UK dates in total, the Glasgow curtain raiser, followed by festivals in London (13 June) and Manchester (7 November).

Les Mills International chief executive Phillip Mills says One Live is an opportunity to amplify the buzz of group workouts to a much wider global audience.

“We’re turning the dial up at our instructor events, taking them to the next level and opening them up to anyone who wants to share in the energy of huge group workouts,” said Mills. “One Live is going to be the hottest new trend in fitness events.”

The one-day festivals will feature a number of Les Mills group workouts such as Bodypump, Bodycombat and RPM. One Live events will also include elements such as a talent search for the world’s best Les Mills instructors, with the winner to be flown to Auckland, New Zealand to participate in Les Mills Masterclass filming in 2016.
