New Four Seasons resort comes to Langkawi
POSTED 24 May 2005 . BY
The new 91-room Four Seasons Resort Langkawi has opened on the beach of Tangjung Rhm, one of the 99 Malaysian islands that make up Langkawi in the Andaman Sea.

The resort not only features a spa with six thatched roof pavilions but includes 20 beach villas each measuring 2,370sq ft, all with private spa rooms boasting two batik covered massage tables.

At the heart of the resort, the spa is surrounded by lotus ponds, while each spa pavilion has outdoor rain showers, plunge pools and soaking tubs.

Treatments are inspired by Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, Indian and Arabic influences, with therapists recruited from Thailand, Bali and India for their specific expertise.

Custom-designed signature treatments include Shanti Shanti Shanti, which combines sacred practices such as Indian herbal oil massage, with a private yoga session and elements of Reiki. Details: www.fourseasons.com
