Rookery Hall hotel to gain luxury spa
POSTED 16 Jan 2007 . BY Sarah Todd
Hand Picked Hotels is set to refurbish its Rookery Hall property in Nantwich, Cheshire, UK.

The £10m (14.9m euro, US$19.3m) revamp will include the construction of a new spa and health club.

Set for completion this summer, the spa will include a steam chamber for a Turkish mud treatment, one double and six single treatment rooms, a 59ft (18m) indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a six-person hydrotherapy pool.

It will also offer a gym, a group exercise studio, a lounge and relaxation suite, a manicure and pedicure area and a restaurant and bar.

Julia Hands, CEO and founder of Hand Picked Hotels, said: “This latest investment follows the £40m (60.7m euro, US$78.5m) we have already spent across the group over the last couple of years to bring our collection of country houses back to their former glory.

“We have set significant targets for revenue growth and customer satisfaction at Rookery Hall Hotel and aim to become one of the most prestigious hotel spas in the area in 2007.”

Hand Picked Hotels comprises a collection of 14 country house hotels across the UK and Jersey. Details: www.handpicked.co.uk
