Les Roches partners with SpaTree to deliver spa training in China
POSTED 21 Sep 2017 . BY Tom Walker
Jannita Mossel, founder of SpaTree, revealed the first course will take place in January 2018
Les Roches Jin Jiang (LRJJ) hotel management college in Shanghai, China, has signed a partnership deal with Dutch training company SpaTree to deliver accredited spa management courses for the rapidly growing Chinese wellness market.

The courses will target Chinese spa professionals at manager or director level who want to professionalise further – and those who are looking for an international career in the spa industry.

All courses will be taught in Chinese and can be organised either at spa hotels and resorts or at the LRJJ campus in Shanghai.

One of the first courses to run under the partnership will be a course on spa retail management, which will have its first intake in January 2018. Each participant will receive an internationally-recognised certificate after finishing the course.

Jannita Mossel, founder of SpaTree, said: “This unique collaboration is based on all parties’ experience.

“Les Roches has 60 years of Swiss experience in the hospitality industry with campuses in Bluche, Switzerland; Marbella-Spain; and Amman in Jordan.

“SpaTree brings in more than 15 years of experience in curriculum development, course development and teaching in vocational and higher spa education and has well established contacts with accreditation associations worldwide.”
