Disney offers first look at new Disney Springs NBA Experience

Disney has unveiled new details about its upcoming NBA Experience at the operator’s Disney Springs leisure district in Orlando, Florida. Disney Springs is currently undergoing a multi-year transformation, with the new National Basketball Association (NBA) attraction set to open in Q3 2019, replacing DisneyQuest. The experience has been inspired by the modern architecture of NBA arenas across the US.
“The building design exudes the same spirit and energising impact, while creating an unmistakable and entertaining connection to the NBA in a way that only Disney can,” said Darcy Clark, marketing manager at Disney Springs.
“It’s one of several ways Disney Springs is still growing and adding new experiences to delight and entertain our guests.”
The experience will include interactive games and competitions, immersive NBA video productions and interactive experiences, a retail store and a restaurant sitting adjacent to the main building.
“This is a one-of-a-kind experience,” said the NBA’s president of global partnerships, Sal LaRocca. “It’s sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world.”
