ASA grants for five swimming projects BYPete Hayman
The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) has awarded funding to five projects in England, which aim to increase participation among non-swimmers and in deprived communities.
Administered by the Swimming Trust, grants have been made available through the Kellogg's Swim Active Grant Scheme and has seen more than £75,000 handed out in the latest round.
Kellogg's Europe head of partnerships and corporate responsibility Bruce Learner said: "We're really excited about seeing these new projects in action, with the overall aim of getting more people swimming as part of a healthy lifestyle."
The next round of ASA/Kellogg's funding is due to take place in the autumn. Details: www.swimming.org
