Rollover, the hot dog people, have moved into the smoothie market by launching their own range.
Available now the company's Pure Fruit collection features Pineapple & Mango and Banana & Raspberry flavours and both are available in cases of 18 x 330ml bottles or in catering packs of 6 x 1ltr cartons of either flavour.
Ambient and with a 12-month shelf life, Rollover's new smoothies address the increasing consumer interest in healthy products by containing no added sugars or sweeteners, preservatives, additives, stabilisers, thickeners or dairy products.
Their wholesale price will be about 84p per 330ml bottle and the recommended retail price is between £1.70 and £2.29. For the 1ltr cartons, ideal for catering and foodservice, the price will be approximately £1.85 per litre, equating to a 75ml serving at only 14p.
