The Ultimate new sauna

Supplier: The Ultimate Sauna Company Ltd
More The Ultimate Sauna Company Ltd details

The Ultimate new sauna

The Northants-based Ultimate Sauna Co showed off its revolutionary new Far Infra Red Sauna at Leisure Industry Week recently.

Reported to offer many benefits over the traditional sauna, the company's new model needs little space, no plumbing, and simply plugs into a normal 13amp circuit. It has a warm up period of five minutes and heats to a range of 110 to 130 degrees F.

Operation is via a control panel, which can be accessed from both inside and outside the sauna, and entertainment comes in the form of an AM/FM radio and CD player as standard.

There are four versions available, accommodating two, three, four and six people, with the retail price for a two-person model being from £1,997 plus VAT.

Suitable for both domestic and commercial use, all models are fully CE marked with European approved EU test certification and have a five year guarantee. Made from Hemlock Fir - an inert timber and one of the few which don't give off harmful toxins - they can be assembled in about 30 minutes, or the company can install one for a small charge.

Far Infrared sauna therapy - where about 20 per cent of the energy heats the air and the rest heats the person - is said to be one of the least costly, safest and most powerful ways of eliminating toxic infections from the human system.

Ultimate claims that the saunas can bring - amongst other things - pain relief, clearer skin, weight control, cellulite reduction, improved heart function and protection against serious disease.
