Solaria 2005 saw the launch of trimmendous®, a new weight management and wellness product.
To be distributed in the UK by Cyrano and developed by nutritionist Dr Steve Kushner PhD for TrimTan Technologies, the trimmendous daily food supplement is made from natural plant extracts, minerals and vitamins and offers a full wellness and weight control programme.
Going one step further, the company also provides both daytime and night-time capsules in the same box.
Trimmendous is particularly aimed at three main consumer groups - those who diet but still can't lose unwanted pounds, those who complain of feeling tired during the day, and those who snack on carbohydrates such as crisps or chocolate bars between meals.
The blister-packed capsules are available in two sizes, a full 30 day course and a 6 day Challenge Pack.
Also on offer is a limited edition Summer Starter Pack. This contains a holiday-themed promotional poster, 6 x 6 day Day Challenge Pack, 4 x 30 Day boxes, consumer information leaflets and marketing support material and is priced at £119.99 excluding VAT with a retail value of £240.00 including VAT.
A further promotion running until the end of April 2006 will see a customer buying a 6 day Challenge Pack being given a voucher by salon staff. When the customer returns to the same salon to purchase the 30 day course, the cost of the original 6 day box will be deducted from the price.
Cyrano will then provide the salon with a replacement 6 day pack free of charge.
