Appearing at Leisure Industry Week for the first time this year was Norfolk-based Jumping Pillows.
The company distributes an attraction of the same name, a large, colourful, permanently sited cushion of air suitable for all ages to jump, bounce or keep fit on.
Made from a special material which is tough, long lasting and able to withstand whatever the weather throws at it without the need for a protective cover, the Jumping Pillow is inflated by a small fan. This is situated in a sealed box a short distance away where nobody can jump on it.
Any combination of four colours is available - red, yellow, blue or green - or it can be ordered in just one. Five different sizes are on offer - 6.25m x 7m, 8.7m x 9m, 11.2m x 9m, 13.6m x 10m and 16.1m x 10m - and the Pillow will need to be surrounded by at least 2m of sand.
Ideal for a whole range of applications, including holiday centres, playgrounds, hotels, amusement and farm parks, sports centres and resorts, the Pillow is best situated 3m away from structures such as walls, fences, trees, play equipment and buildings. An open area is the best site so as to allow a full view of it.
Jumping Pillows can already be found at sites across the UK, including Norfolk, Surrey, West Sussex, Gloucestershire (picture: Cattle Country at Berkeley) and Ayrshire.
