Mapping company, Multimap has implemented the new release of its API service (Application Programming Interface v.1.2) for Active Hotels' www.allukhotels.com website.
The announcement was made at the recent Travel Technology Show at Earls Court and the service's introduction is expected to further increase customer interaction with the site, boost customer loyalty, and increase the ratio of 'lookers' to 'bookers'.
Commenting, Jeff Kelisky, CEO of Multimap, said: “We are proud to offer the latest version of our API service to the industry. Ease and speed of implementation are key considerations driving many businesses to embrace the new service, with the ability to be up and running with a highly interactive, signature site in a matter of hours.”
Version 1.2 includes a wide range of features and capabilities under the headings of mapping, searching, routing, geocoding and local information.
Active Hotels is a leading provider of confirmed online reservations to the European hotel industry. With over 2,300 hotels under contract, it is reported to have the largest collection of properties in the UK that can be booked in real-time.
