Saltex this year will see Emak UK focussing on its Efco 'Estates' range of contractors and professional ground care and maintenance kit, including a number of new additions.
On show for the first time will be a new scarifier powered by a 6hp petrol engine, a wheeled brush cutter and a petrol engine-powered heavy duty portable shredder.
A first for Efco, the new lawn scarifier offers a 50cm cutting width, a 6.0hp Honda engine, adjustable cutting height with memory, a steel deck and metal, bearing mounted wheels.
The wheeled brush cutter is ideal for heavy duty, continuous use. It has a cutting width of 52cm and is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 6hp Intek OHV four stroke engine. Ideally suited to cutting operations involving long grass and intensive undergrowth clearing, the unit features a gearbox offering 2 front and a rear option and centralised cutting adjustment controlled from the handle.
Finally in the new products category is the Honda 5.5hp four stroke petrol engine powered shredder which is completely portable and has the capability of shredding branches up to 60mm thick.
Amongst a range of other products on show will be the company's recently introduced Tuareg 92 4x4 all-terrain garden and landscape tractor.
Designed for the clearing and tidying of thick vegetation on sloping or uneven terrain, it's said to be ideal for use by local authorities, contractors and field maintenance staff. The vehicle features a hydrostatic 4 wheel drive self locking differential to enable the machine to negotiate all conditions on any type of terrain.
It also has a low centre of gravity and a wide tyre footprint to produce maximum stability even on steep gradients or on banks and ditches and has a 92cm cutting width.
Power comes from a 23hp Briggs and Stratton premium range Vanguard air cooled 4 stroke engine via an electromagnetically operated clutch.
