Included within the 19.8m wide x 34.7m long structure are netball, tennis and volleyball courts, together with four badminton courts.

The facility provides a building solution that enables sports activities and lessons - as well as after school clubs - to continue even in poor weather.

Sarah Blason, head of girls games at the school said: "The dome complements the 50 acres of sports fields and the many outside tennis and netball courts already available at Spratton Hall, ensuring that our sporting provision continues to be outstanding."
