The investment, which will be split 50/50 between the two companies, will see energy reduction technology installed across 21 of Leisure Connection's 64 sites.

The move will involve a new lighting scheme, built in energy management systems and Variable Speed Drives introduced across the 21 sites.

Over the past three years, Leisure Connection's commitment to energy reduction has seen the company save 30 per cent on consumption, due to a range of energy saving initiatives that have been rolled out across all of its 64 sites.
