Global Solutions for Clothing (GSC) is a multi-award winning costume specialist that has been creating high quality costume and clothing ranges for their customers for more than 60 years.
The company, which began as a family business, offers a comprehensive service, which encompasses design, import, manufacturing and distribution. In recent years it has experienced rapid growth, and has become renowned in Europe and North America for supplying volume orders across varying product categories including knitted and woven fabric garments, as well as clothing for both children and adults , fashion, leisure and sportswear, costumes and plush, toys and accessories.
GSC is a long time supplier for The Walt Disney Company, having been supplying product ranges for its stores, worldwide, for more than 20 years.
The company's capacity to deliver 10,000 units a week, coupled with its flexibility in offering 500 per order - subject to availability of fabrics and trims - makes them a perfect partner for retailers looking for a reliable volume supplier.
GSC ensures that its customers maintain ultimate control of bringing the products to market, via a team of UK-based account managers, who facilitate the ordering process for each of its retail clients, while the company handles sourcing, manufacture, quality control, product compliance, packaging and logistics, giving the customer a fully transparent project from start to finish.
Proud of its British design roots, GSC delivers wholly unique concepts that are aligned with the overseas manufacture in GSC’s Sedex, ETI and ISO9001 registered facilities in Eastern Europe, Sri Lanka and China.
In addition to its bespoke products, GSC also offers off-the-shelf ranges via its market-leading own label products, such as Pretend to Bee, a label synonymous with providing high quality, fun and educational dressing up costumes for children of all ages. The huge collection features more tham 100 individual lines encompassing an array of categories including role-play and character costumes.
In 2019, GSC acquired Active Learning which will see them add the design and manufacture of soft play equipment for nurseries, pre-schools and any professional educational environments to its roster of services.
