Adjacent to the iconic Cavern Club in the city's Beatles Quarter, the 4-star, Grade II listed boutique hotel contains 110 guest bedrooms. These include luxury and deluxe rooms and two penthouses, the latter the Lennon and McCartney suites with the Lennon featuring a white grand piano. Specially commissioned artworks by Beatles artist Shannon telling the story of the group adorn the walls of both the public rooms and bedrooms. The interior of one of the hotel's two restaurants, Blakes, features images inspired by Sir Peter Blake, designer of the Sergeant Pepper album. The other, The Brasserie, offers imagery also by Shannon, this changing at certain times of the day to adapt to the venue's shifting ambience. Elsewhere in Hard Days Night are two bars - Hari's and Bar Four - and two conference rooms for private entertaining and corporate events. A wedding chapel is also available. The opening of the hotel coincided with Liverpool's tenure as the 2008 European Capital of Culture.
