The company won the contract for their interpretation of the iconic structure as a stunning example of British Victorian design and engineering.

The interior style of the shop mirrors the bridge's high-level walkways, with its criss-crossed girders and rivets being a major feature. These were simulated in wood with a steel grey finish and used for all the coving, panelling and the final finish to the display cabinets.

Beauchamp also provided a combination of bespoke glass towers and counter display units complete with lighting, revolving shelves and secure storage and, mirroring those found in the bridge's engine rooms, turned a gondola unit into a giant flywheel.

In addition, the company supplied all the visual graphics for the shop. This includes images of the bridge in action and the views across London from it, with a multi-lingual explanation of how the roadway is lifted.
