Adding to PepsiCo's range of healthier snacks, and designed specifically with children in mind, Walkers Snacks is to introduce Potato Heads.
The new crinkly crisp contains no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and is cooked in high Oleic Sunflower Oil. This, says the company, means it has 70% less saturated fat .
The launch - which coincides with that of Quaker Seasons, another Pepsico brand - will be supported by a £2m animated TV campaign in January, featuring Gary Lineker as the voice and look of the Potato Head character.
Potato Heads will be available in animated style packs featuring Potato Head across all the pack formats and merchandising display units. Flavours on offer include Ready Salted in standard bags and a 6 pack, Cheese & Onion in standard bags, Ready Salted, Cheese & Onion and Roast Chicken in a Variety 6 pack and Ready Salted, Cheese & Onion, Prawn Cocktail and Roast Chicken in a Variety 12 pack.
