Dubai-based Emaar Properties – one of the world’s largest leisure and real estate developer according to market capitalisation – is rolling out a scheme of training courses to develop the leadership and management skills of its staff.
In order to carry out the training scheme, Emaar has teamed up with Knowledge Horizon in Dubai – an officially accredited centre for the UK Institute of Leadership & Management, the largest European management awarding body.
An initial programme trained Emaar staff in the role of the team leader, effective use of resources, problem solving, effective communication, team briefings and presentation skills, leading to a European qualification called the Certificate in Team Leading.
