A new Adventure Golf course is set to open next month (July) at Mingara Recreation Club, on the central coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Operated by the Adventure Gold franchise, the 2,400sq m (25,800sq ft), 18-hole miniature golf course represents an investment of AUS$600,000 (£245,000, US$450,000, 356,000 euro).
The course has been designed by Adventure Golf director David Miller and includes 300m of themed rock paving and more than 2,000 plants.
With the central coast of NSW in the midst of severe drought, much of the design concept also had to include water saving methods. The central feature of the course is a 10m high waterfall which cascades into 200m of creeks running throughout the course; all the water used is recycled.
The site will also offer a pool containing safari-themed remote control boats and provide seating for 100 people in order to cater for events and parties.
