Finnish health and wellbeing specialist 4event has opened a 1,000sq m (10,800sq ft) facility – the organisation’s second – at a cost of 19m euro (£13m).
The Aulanko Arena, partly funded by Restel Hotels, is located adjacent to the chain’s Rantasipi Aulanko Hotel in Hameenlinna, Finland.
Members can take part in a range of sports activities throughout the year, including cross-country skiing, ice hockey, archery, baseball, lacrosse, sailing, canoeing and golf.
Facilities also include a 200sq m (2,150sq ft) fitness suite – the first in Finland to be equipped with Precor’s new Infinity Line Strength range – as well as a luxury spa, on-site health clinic and bowling alley.
