Fit-In invests 3m euro in its third facility in Karlsruhe

German health club chain Fit-In has opened its third studio in Karlsruhe, following a 3m euro (£2m) investment.

Fit-In Kaiserstraße – located in the centre of Karlsruhe – is a 3,000sq m (32,300sq ft) club, offering a gym with strength and free weights areas supplied by Technogym and Hammer Strength, plus a 50-station cardiovascular area equipped by Precor and featuring the Cardio Theatre in-club entertainment system.

Other facilities include a group cycling studio with 28 Star Trac bikes, a wellness facility – with a separate ladies area and an outdoor terrace – a children’s club, sunbeds and a bar.

The club – which is owned by Jens Petry and Alfred Pikl – also offers 45 group exercise classes a week, including skipping and pilates.

Monthly membership fees stand at $59 (£41), with a $99 (£68) joining fee and a $49 (£34) handling charge.
