Arizona-based health resort Miraval has teamed up with two US-based property groups to launch Miraval Living, a health-orientated residential development in New York City, US.
Miraval has teamed up with C&K Properties and Zamir Equities to develop its ‘Inspired Living’ residential concept.
The first Miraval Living will be situated at 515 E. 72nd Street, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Each of 365 apartments at Miraval Living will feature panoramic skyline views while other facilities will include a residents-only Miraval Spa, a fitness centre and a personal advisor for each resident.
There will also be a private garden of around 20,000sq ft (1,860sq m) and a Miraval garden café.
John Vanderslice, Miraval CEO, said: “There are many amazing places to live in New York City, but Miraval Living will be the first place to live that will change your life. We will make it possible for people to live a better, more inspired life in the city.”
A new Miraval Resort in the Guanacaste Province, on the north west coast of Costa Rica is also scheduled to open in late 2008. The Miraval Punta Cacique will have 100 guest rooms and 40 villas and is intended to be ‘the centre of a new style of international resort’.
