Molton Brown leaves BA partnership
POSTED 12 Mar 2007 . BY Sarah Todd
Hair and skincare brand Molton Brown has announced it is to end its collaboration with British Airways (BA) later this year, following a six-year partnership.

The current agreement between British Airways and Molton Brown will expire at the end of September.

Molton Brown will not re-tender to supply passenger amenity bags, nor manage the BA airport lounge spas at New York JFK and London Heathrow airports.

Molton Brown CEO Sara Halton said: “The partnership between BA and ourselves has been a long and very valuable one. It introduced thousands of customers – particularly men – to Molton Brown, enabling us to enjoy a much more even male/female split in our customer base than traditional brands.”

From the end of this year, the company will look to refocus its spa division resources on expansion into the US and key Asian markets, such as Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
