East African hospitality group Serena Hotels has extended its Maisha spa brand with the management contract for two new hotel spas in Africa.
The group has taken over operations at the Hotel InterContinental Kigali in Rwanda and the Hotel Kivu Sun, located on the shores of Lake Kivu, following a long-term lease agreement with the Government of Rwanda.
The Kigali Serena Hotel will offer 104 bedrooms and suites and a Maisha spa while the Lake Kivu Serena Hotel overlooks its own private beach and will be redeveloped as a spa resort.
