September launch for Timeless Spa
POSTED 30 Mar 2007 . BY Sarah Todd
The AED300m (US$81.7m, 61.4m euro, £42m) Emirates Marina Hotel and Residence in Dubai has entered the final development phase ahead of its September opening.

The 59-storey property will have an entire floor devoted to the Timeless Spa, which will offer treatment rooms, male and female-only saunas, whirlpools, a fitness area, an outdoor swimming pool and a relaxation deck.

The spa will have a large menu and use a range of indigenous products, utilising local ingredients such as dates and frankincense. The range has been specially developed in conjunction with German skincare company Babor.

The development has a number of room configurations, including hotel rooms, studios, two-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse apartments. Other services will include a business centre and meeting room and concierge services.

Located on Dubai’s Marina, with views over the Gulf and Palm Island, the property is a short distance away from Dubai Media and Internet cities, while Jumeirah Beach is also accessible from the hotel.

Emirates’ divisional senior vice president, Hans Haensel, said: “This project will help to support Dubai’s strategic plan and ever-growing demand for luxury hotels and apartments.”
