Dorset-based maze designer Adrian Fisher is creating a giant new maze park in the grounds of the Loucen Castle in Labe, Czech Republic.
Located the central courtyard of the castle, the new Labyrintharium attraction will have 10 individual mazes and include the world’s first permanent light maze.
As night falls the maze’s design will be picked out with 343 individual upward-facing lights creating intricate pathways.
Other attractions include turf and boulder labyrinths, a hedge maze, palisade maze, rope maze, pavement maze, a path-in-grass maze, a tactile maze and a low box maze.
Adrian Fisher said: “The Labyrintharium is a great opportunity to show people the scope and range of maze designs,”
“The light maze is a world first and will provide a stunning centrepiece to the castle.
“We’ve designed the boulder labyrinth within a woodland setting which has produced a wonderfully evocative passageway between stones and boulders, beneath the forest canopy.
Adrian Fisher has created over 500 full-size mazes across six continents in 30 countries, including hedge mazes for palaces, castles and chateaux and mirror mazes for theme parks, zoos and wildlife attractions.
