Australian expansion for ThoSona
POSTED 13 Jul 2007 . BY Sarah Todd
A new urban wellness centre concept co-created by Thora and Sophia Klein – the daughters of Jurlique’s Ulrike Klein – and Next Generation health clubs, is to be rolled out in Australia.

Called ThoSona Wellness Lifestyle Sanctuaries, each spa will offer attainable wellness and lifestyle programmes and be located exclusively within Next Generation clubs.

The first two sites, designed by DRP Architects, will open in Perth in August and Adelaide in late September. A further Thosona site is planned for Sydney in late 2007 with at least three more centres opening elsewhere in Australia over the next few years.

The number of treatment rooms in each ThoSona site will be adapted to fit each location while therapies will be offered from both the Asian and Western traditions.

Spa products will include Jurlique.

Kirien Withers and Heather Stuart from Spa Consultants International were used in the development process alongside Mark Wuttke from the Wuttke Group.
