Stadium of Cornwall plans back on
POSTED 29 Jan 2014 . BY Tom Walker
The new stadium has been designed by The Miller Partnership
The long-running plans to establish a £15m Stadium of Cornwall in Truro have received a fresh boost following new proposals being tabled by development company Inox.

Inox, which already has outline planning permission to build a stadium at Threemilestone near Truro, has now secured an option on an additional 35 acres of land adjoining Langarth Farm.

The company plans to use the additional space for a commercial development, which would fund the £15m stadium project.

Both the Cornish Pirates rugby team and Truro City Football Club have expressed an interest in relocating to the new stadium, despite the proposals being put on hold in 2012, when Cornwall Council voted against giving the project public funding.
