The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) has opened nominations for the annual Thea Awards, which recognise excellence in the creation of outstanding visitor experiences, attractions, exhibits and places worldwide.

In 2013, Korea’s Big-O Experience, London’s Harry Potter studio tour and Disney California’s Cars Land, were among the attractions to win a Thea award for their achievements in design and theming.

The next set of awards will be announced in November, with the winners formally presented in Q1 2015 at the 21st annual Thea Awards Gala.

To be eligible for consideration in the current judging cycle, the project or event must have already opened or taken place within the two years prior to the submissions deadline, of 11 July 2014.

Anyone may submit a nomination whether or not a TEA member by going to this link.
