The La Vida Bella MediSpa & Art Gallery on the Davis Islands in Florida has appointed a Master Aesthetician to lead its wellness programmes, including yoga sessions, weight loss workshops, DNA testing and other spa treatments.

Monica Grajales, an aesthetician who has worked in the beauty industry for 23 years, has created a menu to supplement the medi-spa’s dermatology services. The new treatments include services for the face, neck, chest, back and derriere, with therapies such as acne reduction and pregnancy-safe services.

Beauty treatments such as 3D eyelash extensions, lash or brow tinting and intimate area skin bleaching are also on offer now, in addition to dermabrasion and lightening procedures.

Led by Board Certified dermatologist Dr Kathleen Colorado, the existing medi-spa’s experience in dermatology and wellness medicine targets rejuvenation and the repair of skin damage caused by ageing, environment and stress. Treatments include chemical peels, the removal of spider veins, botox injections, wrinkle fillers, and skin cancer management.

The medi-spa has its own art gallery space, used for seminars, benefit galas, exhibitions and workshops – where local artists exhibit their pieces alongside the work of in-house Belgian artist Marc Dewale and handcrafted jewellery artisan Di’s Designs.
