LA Fitness has selected Physical Company as equipment supplier for its newly refurbished flagship LAX club in South Kensington, London.

Physical Company will kit out the dedicated 230m2 functional training area with equipment such as kettlebells, medicine balls, slam balls, dumbbells, stability balls, and BOSU balancer trainers. The club’s equipment range will also include the new SandRope, a battling rope which contains shifting sand.

The LAX club will additionally utilise some of the kit in its free weights area and for specific, small group training programmes.

“We chose Physical Company because of the quality and range of kit they offer,” said Stephanie Heath, fitness support manager at LA Fitness. “We were able to order a broad range of equipment for the opening of LAX including exciting new products our members would have not seen before.”

Heath said the fitness chain was now looking at introducing equipment from Physical Company at additional LA Fitness sites.
