Impact Cryotherapy has added Ella Stimpson, spa director of the Spa at Sea Island, to its national advisory board.

Stimpson oversees all aspects of the 65,000sq ft (6,039sq m) Spa at Sea Island, located in Georgia, US. Prior to Sea Island, she was executive director of spa operations for Wynn and Encore Las Vegas and has also served as chairman of the International Spa Association (ISPA) from 2011 to 2013, where she continues to serve on the board of directors.

“Whole body cryotherapy is the next step in the evolution of sports medicine and therapy, and a great tool in the spa’s repertoire for speeding recovery and reducing inflammation,” said Stimpson.

“We are excited to make it an integral part of our spa and fitness offerings at Sea Island and be the first resort spa in the U.S. to offer this specialised service. We are committed to providing a 360 degree approach to preparation, performance and recovery for golfers and other athletes alike – even if your only sport is positively managing your health while ageing.”

Other members of Impact Cryotherapy’s Advisory Board include James R. Andrews, who serves as chair; Troy C. Van Biezen; and J. Melvin Deese, Jr.

“We are pleased to welcome Ella Stimpson to our national advisory board, which provides guidance and direction on matters related to Impact Cryotherapy’s whole body cryotherapy systems,” said Richard Otto, president and CEO. “Ella’s innovations and insights into emerging trends in wellness and fitness will be extremely valuable to the board.”
