F45 clubs offer a high-intensity, interval training regime based on 45-minute long training sessions
Australian fitness franchise F45 is concentrating on growth in the US and UK as it approaches the 1,000 studio mark.

As of August this year the brand had 967 franchises in Australia and New Zealand (569), the Americas (267), Asia (75), Europe (43), the Middle East (9) and Africa (4).

The company expects to have 1,150 studios by the end of the year, breaking the 1,000 mark by the end of October.

In the latest edition of Health Club Management, Rob Deutsch, founder and chief executive of F45 said: “We operate in 31 countries but our focus is currently on the US and the UK. That said we’re opening new clubs in Europe (Switzerland, Spain and France) and China. In Australia we only have a handful of territories available.”

F45 classes are 45-minute high-intensity circuit training workouts in studios that are on average 200-250sq m (2,150-2,690sq ft), with a typical member base of 250.
