The Maze Grill, the latest addition to Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant empire, opened recently in the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London.
Offering a range of grilled meat and fish dishes, the interiors for the 80-cover Maze Grill were designed by United.
The Marriott Hotel’s previous restaurant was transformed into an open plan restaurant and bar. Vivid Interiors installed Forest Stewardship Council accredited oak flooring in the main dining area, with oak furniture and cream suedette curtains.
The bar features a 5m oak bar fronted by concrete panels featuring inlaid hand-carved rose motifs. Subtle lighting has been used to create a warm, informal feel, with a 14m ceiling light handfinished in bronze paints, as well as corner lampshades and brushed steel lamps.
A private dining area is raised on a mezzanine level, with glass partitions featuring etched rose motifs.
