This crisis is a stark reminder of what really matters and we, as an industry, have the opportunity, when the time is right, to help everyone recove
– Paul Kelly BALPPA CEO
The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) has postponed its upcoming expo and tradeshow in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show, which was originally meant to take place in April, will now take place from 24 - 26 November 2020 at Drayton Manor in Staffordshire, UK.

During the show, attendees will be given the opportunity to get to know other members of the industry, as well as connect with companies offering a multitude of services and products, including food and beverage, ticketing systems, lost and found software, insurance and mobile apps, as well as ride manufacturers and concept designers and builders of attractions and play areas.

The three-day event will include marketing seminars, health and safety seminars and a trade show with more than 30 suppliers of products and services from across the leisure and attractions industries. There will also be a number of networking opportunities, including an awards ceremony.

"We've been hugely encouraged by the enthusiastic support we are receiving from our exhibitors about the expo. This is an extremely challenging period for us all, but we are determined to come through it stronger, more resilient and very much open for business," said BALPPA CEO Paul Kelly.

"The expo will provide a great forum for members to re-connect with suppliers and services, re-establish links and lines of communication and share best practices.

"Now, more than ever, we must work together and look after each other. This crisis is a stark reminder of what really matters and we, as an industry, have the opportunity, when the time is right, to help everyone recover and share quality time together once again."
