Spa brand Subtle Energies has announced that this year’s International Ayurveda and Yoga Conference will be hosted online with free entry for all.

Founded in 2006, the conference’s goal is to bring authentic and in-depth knowledge of Ayurveda and yoga and make it relevant in current times.

The event is a product of a partnership between Subtle Energies and Ayurveda Yoga Australia (AYA) – an organisation formed in 2005 by Subtle Energies founder Farida Irani committed to bringing about the awareness of these two sciences, and eventually, incorporate them into the main-stream system of education and health sciences.

Attendees can expect a mix of practicals, presentations and panels with a range of speakers including Professor Marc Cohen, Anna Bjurstam and Professor Gerry Bodeker.

People can book their place and free event pass on the conference website. If someone wishes to provide a donation for their ticket this will be reinvested back into the conference to help give more people free access.

The event will be held on 9-10 May in Australia (8-10 May for most other time zones) and will be split into three sessions.

Nick Irani, Subtle Energies’ director of operations and brand development, told Spa Business: “We have the pleasure of bringing a gathering of exceptional speakers, including educators, researcher and experts drawn from the various fields of Ayurveda, Yoga and wellness.

“Each speaker has a wealth of knowledge and we’re thrilled that this program will be offered free to all those who are willing to receive it. It provides both a unique education opportunity and deeper understanding of how these sciences can help, especially right now.”
