Hospitality management education group, Sommet Education, is continuing to support its spa course student’s education during the pandemic by switching to remote learning resources.

The Swiss group has enlisted a dedicated task force to facilitate student’s remote learning. The team has provided students with access to video conferences, online assessments, digitised academic materials and a virtual campus, along with producing 100 new videos of academic content daily.

Resources are available to students at the Swiss group’s two renowned campuses – Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches – which offer two spa management courses: Excellence in Spa Operations and Maximising Spa Profitability.

The first course is designed for spa managers, GMs and operations managers and provides an actionable framework for organisational structure, teaching proven techniques to maximise sales. Participants learn industry-leading yielding practices, SOPs and strategies for today’s spa and wellness market.

Maximising Spa Profitability focuses on the main tactics and instruments you can use to drive sales, reduce costs and maximise a spa and wellness facility’s bottom line.

Benoit-Etienne Domenget, Sommet Education CEO, said: “Our teams have been striving tirelessly over the past weeks to enable our students to continue their studies with the same level of excellence.

“Our faculty members have once again proven their incredible commitment to our students who are now connected to us from everywhere in the world.”

Sommet Education is an education group specialised in hospitality management and the culinary arts. Its main hospitality management institutions are Glion and Les Roches, with campuses in Switzerland, Spain, China and the UK.

Sommet Education teaches undergraduate and graduate students from over 100 countries.
