Global spa consultancy and contract management company, Resense, is set to unveil Asia’s first boutique fitness and wellbeing experience in Bangkok, after two years' planning and development.

Sindhorn Wellness by Resense, at the new Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel, will be spread across more than 4,000sq m over three floors – crafted by Resense to empower guests to achieve optimum wellbeing.

With interior design by P45, the facility will open in two phases, with boutique fitness, yoga and pilates studios opening on 1 August 2020, exclusively for Bangkok residents, while the spa and wellness floor will be opened in Q4 2020, simultaneously with the hotel, to all guests.

Sindhorn Wellness is designed to take the concept of health and wellness to new heights, and will feature a Wellness Concierge service which will conduct guest wellbeing consultations prior to arrival to create a personalised, goal-oriented wellness plan based on individual needs.

Inspired by world-leading wellbeing destinations, Sindhorn’s City Wellness Sanctuary spa will be completed with 26 treatment rooms, including private suites, and offer a bespoke holistic range of massages, scrubs and facials, as well as advanced therapies, focused upon detoxification, rejuvenation and prevention.

“Our range of advanced treatments and specifically selected technologies will empower our international and local guests to achieve their goals,” commented Emma Darby, COO of Resense.

The detoxification programme will range from dermalux facials and pressotherapy to a detoxification circuit and authentic Moroccan hammam.

The spa will feature an extensive thermal journey, including bio and salt saunas, a cold chamber, aroma steamroom, rasul mudroom and a tepidarium relaxation area with views across Bangkok.

Wellness facilities will also include experience showers, a garden with a meditation walk, a dry flotation room, Scottish shower room, pressotherapy space, colonic hydrotherapy facilities and a Vichy treatment room. Nutritionists and naturopaths will also be on staff.

Adjacent to the spa will be the hotel’s 25-metre saltwater infinity pool with the Bangkok skyline as a backdrop.

Claimed to be Asia’s first hotel boutique fitness facility, Sindhorn Wellness has been created with a major focus on fitness with a two-floor workout facility, including a fitness assessment space complete with 3D-scanning and body composition equipment.

The centre will house a boutique gym, yoga studios, two multi-functional studios, a HIIT studio, health assessments rooms, a virtual and live spin cycling studio and a Pilates studio fitted with the latest Balance Body equipment.

Guests will be offered a varied range of high-tech workouts, ranging from world-leading virtual Les Mills spin classes to the latest CrossFit and virtual workout systems. Sindhorn Wellness will also provide facilities for HIIT, spinning, Pilates, ariel and hot yoga, TRX, Bodhi, Bungee Fly.

According to Resense, Sindhorn’s integrated fitness and wellness approach ensures personalised care and tangible results where guests are at the centre of the experience.

“Sindhorn Wellness will deliver guests a distinctive and desirable wellness experience,” says Kasha Shillington, CEO of Resense.

To complement the offering, Resense has developed Sindhorn Wellness ‘Momentum’ membership designed for active individuals striving for the same thing – ultimate strength and balance between mind and body.

Costing between 55,000THB (£1,343, €1,485, US$1,752) to 95,000THB (£2,321, €2,567, US$3,026), the membership offers exclusive benefits, such as VIP wellness treatments and access to events and workshops.
