Buyer event company, We Work Well, has announced the launch of We Work Well EMEA, expanding its recently debuted virtual meeting platform to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In response to the pandemic, We Work Well took its concept online in April 2020. Using its custom-built web-based We Work Well Virtual meeting platform, spa and wellness suppliers are able to be connected with key decision-makers from high volume luxury spas, through scheduled one-on-one meetings, education and networking.

Since launching in North America, We Work Well Virtual has hosted over 350 pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings during its June and August events, and 95 per cent of surveyed attendees indicated they’re likely to book business as a result of their meetings.

Monica Helmstetter and Lucy Hugo, We Work Well founders, were so encouraged by the positive response to these virtual events that they began to consider the potential of expanding the new format.

“After hearing feedback from our customers in Europe and the Middle East, combined with travel restrictions continuing to hinder conferences and tradeshows worldwide, it made sense to broaden our reach and create new opportunities for the global spa community at this time,” said Helmstetter.

Though Helmstetter and Hugo, both born and raised in Europe, understand the complexity of these regions and their differences from the North American market, they believe the We Work Well virtual model is able to adapt to each market it enters.

“We cannot presume a one-size-fits-all approach will work,” explained Hugo “so in building our virtual platform from the ground up, we were conscious of creating a model adaptable to the evolving needs, of every market we enter, both now and into the future.”

The first We Work Well EMEA event will take place on February 4, 2021. For more information, contact We Work Well here.

To support this expansion, the We Work Well team has grown to include Stephen Pace-Bonello as event director of We Work Well EMEA.

Based in Malta, Pace-Bonello was most recently event director for SPATEC Europe and Middle East, and brings over fifteen years of experience in the spa, hospitality and hosted-buyer sectors.
