Memberships for new virtual personal training app, Wrkout, 'sell out in a day'

A new digital fitness platform delivering live, virtually optimised personal training has sold out all of its available memberships in a day. Wrkout, which had its soft launch in February 2021, provides one-on-one sessions to exercisers wherever they are.
All of the platform's content is live and features two-way communication between members and trainers.
Wrkout’s bespoke, proprietary software has been designed so the system caters to the specific needs of at-home fitness sessions. This means the platform doesn't have to rely on existing video streaming solutions, which aren’t necessarily geared towards the delivery of dynamic workouts.
The platform held its initial membership release on 8 June – with all available memberships selling within the day.
Wrkout was founded by Curtis Christopherson, CEO of Innovative Fitness, a network of premium personal training studios.
“The entire team at WRKOUT is ecstatic about the results of our first public release," Christopherson said.
“Our goal has always been to push the envelope when it comes to virtual fitness offerings, and we proved that we can do that – and more.
"We look forward to our next membership release, welcoming more people and trainers to the Wrkout community, and continuing to serve this incredible demand."
