Organisers of the Elevate event – scheduled to be held at London’s ExCeL on 28 and 29 September 2021 – have confirmed that the two-day show will now be held in June 2022.

The decision was made partly due to the delay in the lifting of the final COVID-19 restrictions (or Step 4) in England, which had created "added uncertainty".

In a statement, the event organisers said: "Unfortunately the delayed easing of the final stage of restrictions raised the level of uncertainty above a sensible threshold for running Elevate this September.

"As always, our priority is the success of our exhibitors and the value we bring to our visitors and delegates and this is our guiding principle behind this decision.

"As event organisers, our role is to create a safe, successful and well thought-out event for the sectors we serve, and it is with this in mind we have decided to give the sectors time to regroup and recover fully before hosting the industry's premier annual event again.

"With our sights firmly fixed on a brighter future, we are delighted to announce Elevate will run on the 15 and 16 of June 2022 and we fully expect this edition to be the biggest and most successful Elevate to date."

Elevate gathers professionals from the fitness, physical activity, therapy and elite performance sectors.

Delegates include public and private sector decision makers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals and sport scientists.
